Re: FAQ: Dropping in a new motor and it doesnt work, what to start checking...
hello , i am new to this forum , but i have been reading your info for a while now its great thanks
i have a 96 honda civic ej9
i have just swapped with a prelude h22a2 ( p13 obd1 ecu )
i got it running with a few cels ( 2 cels)
i got one sorted , but n13 is a pain
that is the map sensor right ?
so i tested the wires for continuity , voltage ...
tryed repinning to the ecu in case i swapped a pin by accident ,
still throwing a cell ...
then i remembered that i damaged the map sensor from the prelude so i used one from the ej9 , could that be the problem ?
maybe different voltage ?
could anyone gide me thru this please ?
