Detailed main relay help(searched)

MAIN RELAY help(searched...detailed)
Ive searched on here and decided that my problem is the main relay(fuel pump relay). Ive noticed that on hot and humid days my car doesnt want to start. It will turn over but it wont fire. After a few tries it usually starts though. I looked under the dash and took off a little silver square box about the size of a 9 volt battery. it said "MITSUBA 12V 2810" on it and had a small wiring harness on it. Is this the main relay? and what parts would i have to solder to fix it? Thanks for any help I receive.

when you pull out the orange guts of the relay - there are solder joints on the opposite side of the connector. that's what i resoldered. i'm still waiting for my car to not start again to tell me whether it was successful.

I had the same problem and i re-sawdered the connections and my car has started ever since.

I replace my main relay that i bought on ebay and my car still the same it won't start especially if you park it under the sun. so i got it check and the mechanic found out that i have a bad ignition switch. turn your ignition key to accessories only if there's no light most likely it your ignition switch.

yeah right now im helping my friend rob, drumking on here with a problem, we have been trouble shooting for a while a problem which at first we thought was his pgmfi main relay but turned out to be his ignition switch, and now with a new pgmfi relay and a new ignition switch it looks like we may have fried his ecu in all the testing and troublshooting,
