code 6 on my 1993 h22a... ect but i dont know what to do...i lost my Vtec... ect can be the cause?

the sensor is right below the distributor. check for a good connection and untouched wiring. Otherwise the sensor is broken.

yes, unless the motor is up to temp, vtec will not kick in. Bad temp sensor= computer thinks the motor is cold.

for starters, what does your temp gauge inside the car say? Next, get the car running and up to temp, then disconnect the 2 pin connector on the sensor, and measure the resistance, should be between 200 and 400 Ohms.
