According to the Honda parts catalog the one visible from the front is labeled the Thermo Unit. Honda part number 37750-PH2-014
The second sensor tucked under the distributor is the water temperature sensor assembly. Honda Part number 37870-PK2-005.

thank you ghost accord very much and i didnt want to jump the wiring as i didnt feel comfortable doing it to get the code and i didnt want to spend the money when i can just find it out online FOR FREE
Paperclip in a two prong port and you're uncomfortable doing it? But you're willing to take a random stab as to which part it is?
You realize that's all it requires. Stick a paper clip in the port behind the glove box and count the flashes.
He did say that he broke the sensor. Even if it isn't the cause of the CEL he should probably still replace it.
After you replace the broken sensor and reset the ECU. If the CEL comes back on that is when you should scan/retrieve the Diagnostic Trouble Code from the ECU as TheMuffinMan mentioned.

ya i know but my ecu was never throwing a code until that happend and soo i know its that sensor only and i just needed to figure out the sensor under the dizzy and its not just some stab at a guess as to wat sensor it is
its a simple of someone telling me what that sensor is cause they would know more about the car then i do
and then i would look WAY more into as i did after ghost accord told me wat is and he is right

you were more or less just taking a stab at it as you were asking a general question over 12 model years of accord with a sensor that for all you knew may not be the same on each year.....point being he was trying to help you...be greatful
yea its over his head its all good....i have no problem helping ppl but i mean with no year your lookin at a 12 year span with countless configurations ...and thats assuming he even has an accord
if your read i did say its 95ACCORD
and it wasnt a wild stab as someone with that year would know what sensor im talking bout wich ghostaccord gave me the info and then i researched more into it and as it was he was right bout wich sensor it was

Lol, you still don't get it.
You have 6 guesses from people in the thread as to what it *could* be, even Ghost lists two part numbers.
Replacing parts before finding out what a CEL is actually there for is silly. What if your CEL is actually for misfires or fuel injectors malfunctioning. Timing could have just been coincidence. Sure, while you have a cause/effect with a sensor breaking and then a CEL light popping up. Going online and saying "Yo dawgs, I broke a sensor below the dizzy" is a whole hell of a lot less technical and surefire way then doing it correctly. Looking at the Accord FAQ, and spending 5 minutes bending a paper clip and counting the flashes.
Then you know exactly what the problem is and are not replacing a random sensor some guy on the internet told you to. I mean do you know Ghost? Not saying he's a bad guy but what if 4 of us told you it was a CYP sensor? You would've gone for it. I just counted on my list and you've got a possibility of 19 sensors (give or take depending on year). You could either continue guessing, which is really what you're doing, or find out for sure.
That's why it's over your head.

There are two sensors for coolant temperature. I broke the same one you did just now
One sensor is for the gauge the other is for the computer. One has a single round connector on it, the other has a plug and two connectors.
Did the piece break off in the head like mine dide?
