will a valve cover from a h22 fit the h23 motor

Question on 99 lude. When i am driving and my engine is between 1-2k rpm i am noticing a chattering or ticking noise coming from the engine area. It just makes this sound from 1-2k rpm and no other range. its not very loud, but its annoying as hell. sounds like it is coming from the head of the motor and not the block. i was thinking that the valves may need adjusting, but not for sure. any thoughts?
