Removing FREON Tool?
Does anybody know what tool I can use to remove the FREON from my AC system. I need to remove the AC and I don't want to unload compressed chemicals. If not a tool specific for this what methods have you guys used to remove the A/C system

you have to goto a shop that does a/c and have the system evacuated...or u could just loosen the hose on the compressor

technically, you need a machine which connects to the AC and captures the freon so that it isn't released into the atmosphere - it is illegal to just release it - that is technically and legally speaking, but if you were to just loosen the hose a little "by accident" and it all leaked out - whoops!

Hrmm...everything is disconnected. And I know where the valves are........well I'll just have to purchase a gas mask and a radioactive suit.
