Default Window regulator

Ok so I changed out the window regulator, and now when the window goes back up its slow, and it seems to be going out of the track. Is this due to the window seal being bad? If I replaced the window seal would it correct my problem?

lube up the seal, and take apart your door panel and put the window back in track, replace the bolts holding the metal track, and dont tigthen them too hard and ur good.

so the bolts holding the regulator in shouldnt be that tight? or the track that holds the front of the window in place? i think the window seal is pretty much shot as well

well then might as well replace the window seal. no the bolts holding the metal track shouldnt really tight, just try it out, put the window back in track and tighten the bolts as much as u can without slowing the window down. And im talking about the track thats towards the front of the door(towards headlights)

i didnt even lossen those bolts to get the window, or regulator out, there is a chip in the front of the glass, could that be causing it? if you let it go up a little then push the glass towards the back of the car and against the car back into the track it will go up fine, but it keeps jumping out of the track at first....do you know where i can a window seal. would a window seal cause it to jump the track?

my window was doing pretty much the same exact thing. it's usually ok on low humidity days but it tends to get stuck when I put the window down. I have to inch it down slowly. the trick is to oil up the black seal where the window slides down in. every once in a while you'll have to re oil it but it's not too hard.

I used wd40 one time and used motor oil the second.. I need something better, something that won't wear away from the seal as fast.

my passenger window is on track and goes up slow as well. I think the motor is going bad for both of us. but yeah, just oil the track and you should be good for a while.
