The rear si T-mount. This is what bolts onto the backside of the engine to the rear motor mount on the subframe. It's found in 99-00 civic si, it's needed for any 96-00 civic with a b series swap.
It's part number is: 50827-S04-N10
And the dual post mount. This it what bolts onto the engine block itself that then bolts to the driver side engine mount.
It's part number is: 11910-P30-000
A good website where I get all my OEM parts from is www.hondaautomotiveparts.com
Good luck! If you have further questions you can pm me.
edit: And you can reuse your old mounts if you please. D-series and B-series 3 main mounts are interchangeable.
Don't be a dick. Obviously he's new to Hondas, no need to discourage him.

what about a k20 type S?
comes with everything too, what am I going to look for and how much am I gonna have to put in to finish this k20 type S. I just want a thought cause my friend has one and it's ready to put into a car, but I'm not sure cause I heard that it cost a lot to finish it. I want a heads up before I get this type S. He wants 2,500.00 for it, a complete motor.
Cause now I'm thinking a lot lately about this k20 type s. any info will be thankful

lol me and my buddy just finished his boosted K24 for the motor harness mounts kpro axels shifter box EP3 5 speed tranny was 6k now his turbo setup was already off his old RSX which set him back 4k for every part now he has to get his car tuned and the motor was rebuilt which set him back another 2400 so so far he has invested 12400 without a tune, your budget is half of what he bought his motor for my buddy is selling a K20A motor with everything because he got out of the honda game couple years ago and im probably going to be picking it up for 1500 dollars because its taking up space you wont get a K swap for cheaper than 4k unless you boost cars or know people that boost cars or you're super lucky

A k swap is a very extensive swap to undergo... It involves some cutting, alot of wiring, and you also have to swap the steering column. A good set of k swap mounts will cost you around $600 alone. and you wouldnt dare geta k swap without getting kpro, otherwise you're wasting your money. You're best off just buying an rsx type s or an ep3 and using it as a donor car.

Re: what engine will fit my 98 civic ex?
I'm not looking into building it. Just a everyday thing, something that will take me 800 miles there and 800 miles back home, kinda like a travel car with out any problems,. so I was thinking about a rebuild motor, that has 30,000 miles to 60,000 miles. I was thinking something a little more then the stock engine, D16Y8. I hate cutting, welding and etc. just plug and play, well you guys know what I mean. A little wiring should be okay, I got $3000. and I need one badly. Cause mine is leaking oil and it sounds like crap.
HMO, yeah was looking at that too, but I'm not sure what will fit. I might just call them and see what they got. But first I want something a little stronger but stock motor only and complete motor, cause I hate one thing after another ya know what I mean. I hate dealing with oil leaking and other junk, etc.
yeah I was thinking about that too, B series. I just want some basic parts not as in cheap parts that well last me 6months and under, I'm talking about 2 to 3 years. Something that will total up to 3g. What would I be looking at as in axles, motor mounts, etc...? if I would to go with B series. I just want a heads up, thanks guys for your reply.

This means no K-series, no J-series, no Type Rs.
OP is probably looking for something like a B16A or a B18B. B18C1 could even go over $3000 with all parts needed.

2,500 seems a bit much for a LS swap. I would check around at your local junkyards first to see if they've got any 94-01 integra's. Not sure about the junkyards in your area, but I bought a spare motor from one near me for 350 dollars.

you can buy k24 motors fairly cheap i got mine for 500. it was a spare motor that needed to go and was taking up space.

Re: what engine will fit my 98 civic ex?
you can swap in any D16. best one to swap would be a z6. running any obd1 motor u will need to swap over the oil pan, oil pump, oil pick up and distributor from ur previous motor. u could run a obd1 distributor but u will need an adapter. the obd2 distributor will only bolt up with one bolt but is sufficient i have ran my z6 motor this way for years and no oil leaks.
I have a 98 civic. I am trying to figure out what I all need for a swap. My buddy have a 93 d series VTEC engine and 5 speed transmission. I picked that up from him and now I don't know what I need to do the swap with. The injectors have different plug hook ups. The disturber is different. Plus the car and ecu I have are for a non VTEC. Do you know any ways of doing this swap.

How about a 1998 Honda engine with only 45,000 miles. At this point you probably already have one but if you don't, let me know. I have to let mine go because I will no longer be driving. I had rentals for my entire job and the engine is in perfect condition. I wish I had seen this sooner.
