need my 16 to make more power
so i have a jdm b16 in my car with a skunk2 intake manifold, fidanza clutch and fly wheel, greddy exhaust, intake, and its tuned on chrome.but its just not doin it for me,the car seems so lack luster, especially when im rollin around town with mini cooper s's and turbo honda/acuras,i was wonder what u all would suggest to make the most power,i know the bolt ons wont do much, but is the greddy kit on a stock b16 trust save,on stock boost of course??

expletive the eldelbrock/greddy kits, piece one together, so far I've got about a grand into mine, and I'll have 300 hp high boost. bolt ons will only go so far, with all the money spent on that you might as well **** on it. for maybe 225ish whp, would it be worth it?

I was going to suggest going that route, but the OP doesn't seem like he'd know exactly where and what kinda parts to order, and where to get the best deals on quality products.

no i know about good parts, its just that a i am in college so i dont have the biggest budget, b before this i was turbo d series and the thing had so many problems that i think it makes me fairly fearful of turboing this motor, so u all think that a stock b16 will be able to handle those 7 lbs no problem?

Re: (95dxsir2)
with a good shape engine block and a proper tune your b16 will handle 7-8 psi no biggie
it will still be a reliable daily driver too
