HELP! 2000 civic si CEL p1456 won't go away
Hello. I'm starting this thread to get some help on my si
Recently check engine light turned on. Ran the obd2 comp and it happens to be P1456
I know this code is widely common on all hondas due to bad sealing of the gas cap
However, this is not the gas cap. I swapped the gas cap from my s2k and approximately 90 miles after I reset the ECU , it came back on
My fuel gauge floats a little so I thought maybe the fuel sending unit is bad but I think it's due to leakage in the fuel tank and that's what the code p1456 is all about
I really don't know where to start
I did some research and I'm leaning towards ORVR valve but not sure
Any inputs would be appreciated
