CEL causes
Hey. I recently bought a 2000 Si, and it has a CEL. Forget the code, but I know it's something about the fuel system. The car does not run in limp mode, but the CEL comes on and turns off pretty often. I remember reading that it could be bad fuel, dirty fuel filter, bad gas cap, and things like that. Pretty much the whole fuel system. I was wondering if this is pretty common, and what the normal fix would be. I don't want to go through and replace every part in order to fix it. Thanks.

Eh, definitely need to know the exact code. It could be anything from the EVAP canister to a loose gas cap, perhaps even a misfiring injector. Could you visit an auto parts store and have the code re-pulled? You just have to remember the number is all.
