Icon2 eg wire tuck and fuse box relocation

I'm doing my first wire tuck on my ej1 so far I have pulled everything off the front end and pulled the heater core and blower motor out to figure out a good relocation spot for my fusebox any advice on where to put it bc I need my heater and I was thinking somewhere above the ecu is that good?

I pulled my ecu and bracket off and put the fuse box in the little hole there and have the ecu to the left kinda under where the ac condenser used to be. Check my thread in my sig, i have a few pics of it.

That's what I was going to do is relocate where the ecu goes I think that would be the best access point for it as well

It depends on how accessable you want it to be, and how flexible you are. Inside the glove box is probably the most user-friendly location, or...if using a trunk-mounted battery (coupes), I've installed them in the back also. Makes for a long harness, but if doing it all from scratch, it's no big deal. It keeps the box out of sight, but still easily accessable when needed.

I plan on putting mine in the trunk or in the glove box when the time comes for my battery/fuse box relocation.

i cut a small hole in the back of the glove box to pull the wires through. it was a tight fit to plug them in but its definitely possible without cutting or splicing any wires. you will have to pull all the wires through and get as much slack as u can.

you shouldnt have to extend anything if you did it right except a few wires like the horn, headlights, and i forget maybe the ac harness as well.

everyone is routing the engine harness through the firewall under the heater core outlet and inlet pipes. here check this out https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-acura-28/shaved-tucked-customized-engine-bays-pics-theory-discussion-1693934/

I just started the wire tuck on my ej1 today I was going to use an oddessy battery where the pass air bag goes and wasn't sure if the fuse box would fit next to it but I kinda like the idea of putting it wher the ecu goes. Eather way keep us posted on the progress

I already have done the wire rerouting now I'm doing some body work to the front core support before I further my process and I'm going to mount the fusebox where the ecu goes and take out the ac condensor so I can put my ecu there. Does anyone know where I can find these plugs for my firewall and hopefully cheap??
