Icon4 Bad intake tube OEM part

I recently found a crack on intake tube on my 2005 Accord Coupe EX V6 5 speed AUTO. When I tried to remove it from the engine to inspect, it broke easily into pieces with wide cracks. I got shocked. How come Honda's original factory part could be broken into pieces like this ? When I ordered new OEM replacement part from Honda dealer, I found the answer. The OEM part was made from 50% recycled rubber material. Hello guys. It is not supposed to be like this. It should be made from good quality rubber material like good quality tire rubber. Hot engine heat helps the intake tube rubber to degrade and deteriorate faster. If I could not find the cracks, the engine would suck in lots of dust through the cracks and clog the fuel injection and then you know what will happen next. The engine performance will drop remarkably. Engine oil will get dirty much faster. I strongly recommend Honda OEM part makers to use good quality rubber material for intake tube. See attached photo. Any suggestion ?

Had the same problem on my 05 TL. Definitely something to keep an eye on in the future. Who knows how long it's been letting unfiltered air in.
