Question diagnosing fuel pump
1991 accord lx auto
This car died on me the other day and will randomly start after about 6 hrs. to 1 day.
The pump only primes once in a while with the key turned to the on position. But makes a clunking noise every time the key is turned on.
I checked voltage at the fuel sending unit yellow wire and have 10.7-11.5 volts every time the key is turned on.
My thoughts so far are:
Fuel pump bad
Bad ground to pump
I'm testing voltage wrong
Any ideas?
