"courtesy light" for 2007 accord sedan
I'm trying to make the front ceiling lights turn on when I open the doors just like the middle ceiling light. Can anyone tell me how I can do this?

the owner's manual's picture has that switch, but my car doesnt. It only has the "ON/middle/OFF" switch for the center ceiling light

The middle should be the door, right? What else would that position be for? I know the two front lights come on in my 03 when I open the door.

Your going to have to rewire it to work. Its a ground to turn the door lights on. and also a ground to turn on the headlinner lights from the 2 buttons.

I did that on my 02 when I was bored. Now I love it. The switches for the map lights were double throw, with one pin not used. The bulbs get constant power (switched ground), so I soldered in a wire to the N/C pin and hooked that up to the ground of the bulb in the center. Now when I put the center switch to on, all the lights turn on; it works the same if I open a door. And I still have control of each individual map light.
