weird story about fuel pressure...
a few days ago, i installed a B&M fuel pressure guage i ordered from summit racing. before the install, i dropped it on the hard garage floor. after install, it wouldnt read fuel pressure. so i decided to order another one.
today, i install the new guage. this time i didnt drop it. haha again... no fuel pressure. needle didnt move. so im thinkin... "****, did i get a faulty one?" my cousin comes over, we install the gauge on his car. it works. we install the one i dropped. it works, too! what the heck... both guages are working.
we test the intank pump, bypass the fmu, check fuel lines, test the fuel regulator... its all good. last option: inline fuel pump.
bypass the inline fuel pump... hook it up back to stock... and BINGO! fuel pressure guage works! weird!
why do you think the guage wont read fuel pressure with the inline fuel pump hooked up? is the fuel pump creating no pressure to the guage? it was pretty interesting... after all that work.. to find out it was the inline fuel pump that was making the fuel pressure guage not read pressure at all.

You probably have the gauge before the inline pump, right? The inline pump is sucking all the pressure out of the line and all the pressure is after the pump.
