did you pay via paypal? if you did and it's within 90 days i would file a dispute. you can show paypal the link at tial, then what you received, then the seller telling you that it's real. should get you refunded

I emailed pics of my wastegate to Tial tech support and they replied and said mine is indeed real. I replied back and said but it looks like the one in the pics that say fake and he replied with "looks nothing like it has the old pointy top, and protruding logo, something that was never copied". So I guess I do have a real one after all.

This must of been Gen 1 of the stuff back in like 1996 or so. Good to know that Jake believes it is real. One less thing to purchase.

Yeah I'm glad it's real so I can keep going with the build. I'll probably replace it in the spring with a new one unless I can find the top connection so I can eventually run my boost controller. I'll replace that BOV in the spring too. For now both of those parts I have should allow me to keep building the car and hopefully get it started and start tuning etc. in a month or two. Then after Christmas and such when I can get some money saved up I'll put some quality parts in there.

Have a nipple on it for the tube from the waste gate. I'm running an 8lb
Spring and since that hose is not hooked up it boosts pasted 10lbs
And cuts out. Would that hose from the wastegate have anything to do with

Yes your wastegate needs a hose from the turbo. That's where it gets the boost pressure to push the spring with.

That tial is real, older units had a different casting, with raised letters and a different shape. I have one identical to his. You can pm tial on here with the serial to prove it

You clearly haven't been around long enough to know about the early units


However that bov is clearly a greddy type s copy. And they suck. I couldn't get it to stop surging.
