Default which plugs to use, Denso Iridium or NGK BCPR7ES-11

the turbo wont be on the car until next week. I have denso iridium in the car right now. the turbo kit also came with NGK BCPR7ES-11, which plugs should I use. does denso make iridium plugs in different heat range.

picked up my BCPR7ES-11's for my b16 and they seem to be workin fine for me.

i know that the iridium plugs have a smaller electrode which have less resistance and the iridium also have a higher melting point. doesn't the NGK have a coper electrode. the only thing that makes the NGK better is the heat range 7 which may prevent some detnation. do iridium plugs come in heat range 7.

not to sound dumb or anything , but what are the advantages of switching plugs on a turbo car?

iridium is supposed to be better but my car always run better with NGK's.

helps prevent detonation. "colder plug"

The BKR's have the V-grooved center electrode, the BCPR's don't.
Otherwise they are identical as far as I can tell.
I prefer the BKR's because of the V-groove.

By the way, why does everyone get the BCPR7ES-11's ?
The -11 means it's gapped .044, so you have to bend the ground strap way over to regap them to .028-.032.

If you just buy the BKR7E, it comes gapped at .028.
