Default AEM Uego and Hondata question

So my Buddy got a Del Sol the other day with an AEM Uego wideband installed. I'm hooking up Hondata S300 and I'm having some trouble getting the wideband wired into the ecu. I know the white wire on the AEM is the analog 0-5V so I sliced into that and wired it to D10. Hondata showed the AFR but it was way off. like more than could be adjusted with the voltage offset. I opened the ECU and R16 and R18 were still connected so I removed them. Now Hondata wont read it at all. It just stays showing 20:1. The gauge still reads right but I can't do any data logging.

Has anyone ever ran into this problem or have any suggestions? I've only ever used innovative widebands so the AEM is a little foreign to me.

Pretty sure I figured it out. I think I spliced the wire in the sensor harness and not the harness coming from the gauge. Gonna check tomorrow
