- Remove Bumper

- Detach Cable from Latch
- Undo Plastic Guide Clips for the Cable (5 of them, I think...) and remove them from the Cable (they split in half without breaking)
- Feed Cable back into the Cabin
- Poke a hole in a Firewall Grommet (take necessary precautions)
- Feed Cable back into Engine Bay through the hole you made... It might help to have a Wire Puller, or a piece of Coat Hanger to pull it into your EB.
- Route Cable away from Moving and/or High-temp parts (as best as you can), all the way back to the Latch area.
- Attach Cable to Latch
- Attach Latch to vehicle
- TEST YOUR ****!!!!!
- After confirming everything works the way you want it to, reinstall the Kick Panel, Lower Dashboard Cover, Fender Lining, and Bumper.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Re: hood relocation cable for civic Ek
Anyone try this for an EK?
from this picture it looks like the cable needs to be disconnected from the latch, unlike the integra write up.

Thanks JasonGhostz for the instructions. The operation went smoothly and now I'll feel a little bit safer on the odd occasion that I park on the street.
