Keyless entry - stuck in programming mode
Hey, i got a `99 civic keyless factory system installed.
I purchased the remote year ago, programmed according to instructions and it worked ok.
However - recently i changed the battery in it so it stopped working - i figured - i need to programm it again but this time - the freakin unit won`t go out from the programming mode.
I do all the key routine, then get the key off and everytime i manually press the switch to lock/unlock the car the power lock still do this "cycling" sound - what means that it`s still in programming mode.
The keyless remote is working like once on 5-8 pushes - i guess that is because the damn module is learning the remote everytime i push it.
I tried to disconnect the battery to reset teh module - no luck.
How can i FORCE the module to exit that state ? any ideas ? Disconnecting the power out of it is not making any difference.
Should i look into module or maybe i should look into the receiver itself ?
