Have radio code, radio not asking for it
Hi everyone, A few days ago, I was charging my phone with my car charger, when the charger broke and the radio turned off/shut down. I have the radio code from when I had my battery reset a few years ago, but the car radio isn't asking me for the COdE or giving me any opportunity to enter it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance...

Re: Have radio code, radio not asking for it
did you replace the blown fuse? That's most likely why your radio turnerd off. Don't know what car you have, but the constant fuse for the radio is in the fuse box under the hood, and is listed as Radio/Back-Up and is a 7.5 amp. The fuse for the accessory feed to the radio (the one that turns on and off with the key) will be located in the fuse box under the dash. After you figure out which one is blown and replace it, then the radio will either work again (if it was the accessory fuse) or work and ask for a code (if it was the constant power fuse)
