Re: Backup Fuse (7.5) Question (HaUTSaauce)
this fuse is for the backup info for the ecu and the memory for your radio and clock if you pull this or blow it then it resets your ecu and radio presets and clock. if it keeps blowing you have a short somewhere.

Re: Backup Fuse (7.5) Question (HaUTSaauce)
Depending on make/model/year.. the 7.5 amp backup fuse can share many components including the radio, dome light, cigarette lighter, intermittent wipers and sometimes doorlocks.. the most common cause for this fuse to blow is a faulty cigarette lighter element..

Re: Backup Fuse (7.5) Question
Does anyone have a schematic of this fuse. I have an 08 Civic coupe LX and found that fuse was giving me a parasitic draw. I took out the radio and heater/AC but the draw was still happening. My issue is if the car sits there for more than 12 hours or a couple of days it won't start.

Re: Backup Fuse (7.5) Question (HaUTSaauce)
I have a 2007 Honda ridge lying I'm having the same problem the battery is being drained if I pull out this number 7 fuse this short goes away I had just installed a backup camera that plugs into the cigarette lighter do you think the cigarrette lighter could be causing the problem
