More updates..
I had been waiting for piece of mail to come from stickydiljoe
http://www.flickr.com/photos/cboudia589/10444591083/
I registered for the Year.5 event and went down to southern California in early November
http://www.flickr.com/photos/cboudia589/10448766375/
When I was purchasing a spot for the show I decided I'd grab a Chronicles plate frame as well
Started getting the old brakes off and doing some prep work before installing the Spoon calipers
Old setup..
http://www.flickr.com/photos/cboudia589/10526432573/
New setup..
http://www.flickr.com/photos/cboudia589/10526366634/
New rotors
http://www.flickr.com/photos/cboudia589/10526200505/
Masked off the caps to give them some paint
http://www.flickr.com/photos/cboudia589/10526242134/
The supplies, good ol' Rust-oleum and foam brushes
http://www.flickr.com/photos/cboudia589/10526429163/
All painted up, waiting for the paint to harden up a bit
http://www.flickr.com/photos/cboudia589/10526400585/
Next up was trimming the dust shield or "back plate" to fit the new calipers
http://www.flickr.com/photos/cboudia589/10526325545/
Just about ready for some new brakes
http://www.flickr.com/photos/cboudia589/10526326495/
In order to use the OEM ITR pads I had to modify them slightly
http://www.flickr.com/photos/cboudia589/10526402755/
Two of the pads come with brackets and nubs on each side that need to be removed
Here's a shot of the caliper mocked up after trimming the shield
http://www.flickr.com/photos/cboudia589/10526653383/
Prior to the install
Brake pad bracket tabs ground down
Calipers on and ready for the Russell stainless lines to be bolted up
Passenger side all torqued up
And the driver side after that
On stands waiting to bleed brakes
Tossed on one of the dirty Regamasters to check the caliper clearance and see how it looked, stoked
While the car was up on the stands with the wheels off I took a few minutes to touch up the rear rotor caps and edges with some fresh paint
Finally got the brakes bled and pulled the car out for a well needed wash!
All clean :alkie:
When I picked up the calipers from HMO I figured new reservoir covers would pair well with the calipers so I grabbed a new set
Nice and fresh
Quick shot of the bay with the new socks
Swapped out the Spoon kevlar plug cover and tossed on the Circuit Hero cover for daily use
Lots more to come, thanks for checking in

Thanks man, they have great stopping power, compared to the ITR I would say its not a huge difference especially because I had already had stainless lines and and a 15/16 master cylinder w/o ABS so basically if you slam on the brakes they will lock haha

Back from the dead..
__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ __________________
I have A LOT of stuff to catch up on since my last update including..
- Pictures from my last trip to Southern California and Year.5 event coverage
- The Chronicles Top 10 Hondas of 2013
- Splitter project continued
- Mike's memorial birthday car meet at Griots Garage
- More parts delivered
- Pictures from Wekfest San Jose/Nesei show off 2014
- New valve cover project
- Stickydiljoe Year.6 Coverage
Because of the amount of stuff I need to catch up on I will be breaking it up in to multiple posts, so bare with me and get ready for some updates
The first part of the update we go back to the end of October 2013 to my trip down to Southern California for The Chronicles Year.5 meet at Eibach
Each time I take a trip down to SoCal I like to get a shot of my Integra all loaded up before hitting the road
Some of you may remember seeing pictures from previous posts of the car at this same spot. It seems I have made it a habit to stop at this same lookout point right as you come into the valley before Mt. Shasta. Can't beat the view..
Getting closer to Shasta as I drive South
I ended up driving straight through from Olympia to just south of San Luis Obispo that day so unfortunately I didn't get any more photos until the day of the meet..
So on to the meet!
Shot of my car after getting set up at Eibach
The rest of the pictures are mostly of cars and what not that I enjoyed seeing at the meet..
