Default Would b18a piston rings work on b16 PR3 pistons?

I was thinking instead of milling my head, put in some PR3 pistons to bump up the compression in my b18a.

Now I have brand new hastings rings for the b18a pistons but was thinking if they would work on a PR3 b16 piston.

My guess would be yes since the pistons are pretty much the same except for the dome on top to raise the compression, but I would like to check here before I would even go and do it.

Using a different piston is better than milling. You can put the stock pistons back in but you can't replace the milled head material. Plus it does not mess up your cam timing. Dan
