Weird TPS voltage issue
Just thought id see if anyone had some input. I installed a blox manifold/68mmTB on my gsr. unscrewed the rivet and put the TPS on the new TB. The car was running fine and dandy and then i got into it and towards the higher RPMs. The CEL pops on for a TPS. code 7. So i was like hmm. go into neptune and it was reading 112% wideopen. the voltages were set at .5-4.5 in neptune pref. So i went out to my TPS and the middle wire at closed was .47 and WOT was 5.0 The TPS wouldnt really adjust though. So i went into neptune and calibrated the TPS voltages for .47-5.0 and datalogged a CEL popping on. the TPS stays at 100% the whole time and does not fluctuate.. And sometimes the car will jerk and cut out. so i unplugged the TPS and drove like that. it runs just fine WOT adn cruising. Decel and idle are hella rich. but i believe thats expected. Does anyone know what this might be?
And today i measured the voltage at the middle wire. and it was .67 closed and 6.7 WOT.. ive orderd a new adjustable TPS to see if thats the problem. but id just like some feedback.

Re: Weird TPS voltage issue
Faulty TPS sensor. I had the same problem coincidently when I was changing out my stock stuff for aftermarket stuff. Tried everything, replaced the tps and it was good to go

Weird...The sensor should only receive 5 volts max (reference voltage from the ecu), so there shouldnt be any reason it could ever send more than 5 volts back to the ecu...
But you should be able to diagnose a tps by doing a slow sweep and watching the voltage. Watch for any spikes or drops.

While clocking the TPS, check the voltage. Like others said if it spikes or drops you have a faulty TPS. I have a used on you can have if worse comes to worse.
