Default Question on cams with my build

hi The ultimate goal here is a fun street daily in MID RPM.the whp goals is really just for the "I hit 200whp with my 1.825cc? cool points but I don't care it just gotta be a great throttle mid rpm
***believe in "do it right first time"*** (just not buying new cams for new prices NO BUENO!)

75 shot of WET nitrous REGARDLESS OF CAMS with this newly rebuilt motor! with a bottle warmer (homemade!)
gsr short block
p73 81.5mm block
gsr rods
oem honda bearings

b16 head
custom cams with specs below (after all this)
stock ports (if I find a budget porter that's decent I'll spend the extra and dont by the BC3/springs [hopefully 100-250 port match everything])
will this cam specs below achieve 200-210whp?/130-135TQ
i don't quite understand this whole cam spec thing
if it don't hit 200-210 will the mid range be ******* fun atleast?
its a daily drive street car that races people light to light or lets say a "private track open to multiple people" type thing as its literally a street car will NEVER see REAL drag track (only to see my 1/4 a few times but DEFINITELY NOT a drag car)
and I already own this(below specs) cam bought it for cheap custom regrind

i also have a friend that's maybe willing to sell me used buddy club spec3(id aim 225whp/135tQ) cams for $200 bucks but then I would need to upgrade the valvesprings. I have read a few online that they're only cool for mid grade power like for my needs but dies down after 8500 or so BUT REQUIRED VALVESPRINGS!. I mean $200 plus another $170 from super tech just to not gain that much(if it dont beat the custom grind cam i have already by a superior amount (considering its a $370 i could use towards finding a reputable port matching man for that price) is the $370(if i spend this i wont be porting head fyi!) justifiable or spend that money on port matching head/IM/Header/TB? instead
i have custom cams specs below

i read online that a stock gsr block w/ Head work can achieve 200-230whp/130-140TQ just because of port/polish or just porting(i still dont understand this term very well) + cams like skunk2 P1's but i know my custom regrind cams nowhear near Sk2 P1's.
i thought of going skunk2 products because I find them for cheap here sk2 $250-300/t1 350-400/p1 but those are more drag ? but i find conflicting info on them. (and scared of their lifespan @sk2 cams)
I just hate skunk2 products (except for their intake manifold I am at awe sk2 top dog in intake manifold)

I really want this fresh rebuilt motor to last 100k with weekend racing light to light
but idk if that's realistic here
i mean oem Honda makes them last 200-250k so maybe this rebuild should last 100k?
I'm scared junk2 cams won't last past 15k miles I hear they wear down rocker arms but what do the internet people know sometimes people just bs I really need someone who understand what I'm trying to say and direct me with good advice
im spending give or take 2000 on this whole rebuild start to finish with tune I have lots of parts already so it kinda helps to "do it right first time" hence oem Honda bearings over acl
hell idk if my custom regrind cams will last 50k-100k lol

specs are:

Those are strange specs on those cams. Just barely bigger than B16 cams, and much smaller than ITR cams. You could run those on a stock valvetrain, but you wouldn't really gain any power.

Converted to mm your lift is 10.9

B16 -
Intake lift - 10.34
Intake duration - 235
Exhaust lift - 9.44
Exhaust duration - 230

ITR (96-97) -
Intake lift - 11.45
Intake duration - 240
Exhaust lift - 10.52
Exhaust duration - 235

CTR/ITR (98+) -
Intake lift - 11.4
Intake duration - 243
Exhaust lift - 10.52
Exhaust duration - 235

And since you mentioned BC 3+, here's those too

Buddy Club Spec III+ -
Intake lift - 11.4
Intake duration - 250
Exhaust lift - 11.8
Exhaust duration - 245

Well, I wouldn't necessarily say that. As a true drop in cam, they look like they might make power over a GSR or B16 cam. They have a bit more lift, and a tiny bit less duration, meaning it would shift the power band down, and created a bit more peak power. But, we're talking a few hp at best. And if the exhaust cam is decently sized, then these would fall in between a GSR and an ITR cam. Pretty desirable for someone who doesn't want to, or can't afford to change valve springs.

edit: I bet these would make good power on turbo builds.

the rumor about skunk2 eating rocker pads isnt true. theres plenty of people here who've used them for long periods of time with no issues. if you can, just get pro2 cams unless you know what duration is practical and go with custom cams.

Can you prove this?

Because I'd tend to believe 4piston's word over some random dude on the internet.

No offense.

How is he going to do that outside of getting 50 different heads, their camshaft photos and have you believe it? (No offense, it's just that, your premise is impossible to execute) I also don't believe the rocker pad wear from the camshaft alone, as I've had those camshafts on several of my cars that I've owned as a one owner for 10 years at a time. Am I going to believe 4piston, or my own eyes? .

I get what you're saying.. but to just say prove it, just...well, doesn't sound like that would work. That's like saying.... God exists... prove it!. .. Or prove the opposite so that the premise is believed.

I see both sides of the debate, that's all.

As do I.

And I know there's a bunch of guys running those cams, but outside of a few guys like you, I highly doubt many people are even checking their valvetrain.

I'm not sitting here claiming they eat rocker pads, but while the jury is out, let's not post definitive statements like "the rumor about skunk2 eating rocker pads isnt true."

All I'm sayin'

thanks guys case closed im just gonna keep the custom delta 272 grinds
seems like a waste of 200 bucks for the bc3 when i can just spend an extra 100-150 for better cams (at a later time) that suits my needs
thanks!

i could, but the motors been torn apart and parts sold off already. if pro series were rocker eaters, i wouldnt have ever bought my pro 3's. theres plenty of people here who've been using pro series cams with no complaints on their rocker pads being eaten.
