Default cam torque spec
anyone know the torque specs for cam caps and hold downs on a b16 head off a 2000 SI?

Just looked it up-you are correct. I still only torque the 12mm bolts to 17.5 ft-lbs.
I have the cams out every other week, so bolt stretch is a concern

haha i'm in the same boat, am actually thinking of buying new cam cap bolts, i don't trust the old ones after all the times i've swapped cams

20 x12 or 17.5 x 12 I like the secoond one better.
EDIT 1 lb.ft =12 lb.in 20 lb.ft= 240 lb.in

On the 6mm bolts not the 8mm bolts you are correct.
