Default B16A Head With B18C5 Bottom End?

Whats up Honda Tech People I was wondering if its safe to run a Jdm B16A head on a B18C5 bottom end both head and block are stock i plan to keep on using my stock P30 and buy type r cams and obx itb's Im just wondering if its safe and reliable? And what tweaks are needed to make it safe? Thanks

Why would you wonder about reliability if both are OEM factory specifications? It will run absolutely fine. Do some research my friend!

I drive the car everyday so i need something to last but with power lol but thanks for your input im gonna go ahead and get this done If i wanted to get this tuned do you know any good allmotor tuners?

There's nothing to "tune". You've basically put a Type R engine back together (assuming you didn't change cams or anything else.)

Exactly. ITR and b16 heads are the same cast. Not completely sure why you want to run itb's on a motor your going to drive everyday and keep "stock".

The all motor combination you have planned out won't have the "power" you search for. And as stated, getting on the dyno would be senseless. A base map will do just fine.

Agreed. Itb's are completely pointless for your build. Not to mention if you plan on driving it daily an air filter would probably be a good idea.
