ABSOLUTELY,none of the other guages even COMPARE to a wideband.I wouldnt go into boost w.o one.

Wideband would have deffinately been number 1 on my list.I don't care if the cars allready afr tuned,it's good to constantly know what it is,and it can help alert you to a problem early before it's to late like a failing fuel pump or an injector going out.Weather conditions can change your afr slightly and having a good mointer will help you know exactly how much it's changed.Chances are if you didn't go to a reputable tuner he may have not accounted for that and you wouldn't have any idea.

I'm glad I have my zeitronix wideband..It can moniter afr, boost, lambda, and egt all on the same display.I have one gauge for all that.I also have a water temp and oil temp gauge, since those are very important.

ok well how bout this.. i can really spring for one if i need to, but heres the thing .. first of all how is the gauge installed?? and secondly, i would like to buy a prosport wideband, unless i should get a diffrent kind, but heres the question, the prosport a/f guage they sell is a narrowband ... if i buy a wideband sensor .. can i hook that up to the prosport a/f gauge and then have it be a wideband?

i don't think you can hookup a wideband sensor to a narrow band gauge.

it differs from brand to brand but usually it requires a 12v power source and ground. Widebands are different because it requires a controller to convert the info from the wideband sensor into a/f ratio. You can't just wire up a wideband oxygen sensor straight to a a/f gauge.

Alot of people run Innovative.

Their kit comes with a W/B 02 sensor and a monitor, it's pretty easy to install

You should really use the search dude this is covered so much in here.

12.0:1 is usually the target. Some people run a little richer or a little leaner depending on where they make power, and how they make it.

EXACTLY....

You don't NEED any other gauges EXCEPT a wideband.... It's the only gauge I have because I don't like a lot of wires and I like my car to have a clean interior not that racer boy ****.

I'd say you def need oil pressure and boost as well as wideband. I wouldn't want to risk losing pressure and not know about it or to be having boost spikes. Sure, a W/B will tell you if your leaning out too much somewhere, but you can actually see the spike with the boost gauge

well, i have boost, oil press, and water temp on the way. all prosport gauges, i think i'm gunna return them, wait till they release their blue peak warn gauges, but the same ones, then buy their wideband, then i'll mount boost and wideband right in my guage bezel, then try and mount the other 2 on my bottom slot behind the cup holder
