Default wastegate rotation flange gasket

hi guys, I'm making a new dumptube and for clearance issues i'm using a rotation flange for the wastegate. Now the question is I never use gasket between the wastegate and manifold but for the rotation flange is necessary to use a s/s gasket? I emailed the seller but he never answer me.

thanks

I normally use gaskets. Even though if both mating surfaces are confirmed flat they aren't really needed but it's just peace of mind for me

You could always use a small bead of that super high temp rtv in place of a gasket though
