Nope, I haven't even seen this ITR in person. It hasn't been there when I've gone...

Next time I drop by I'll ask them about it though, maybe I can snap some more pics of it!

I have already seen that setup in person. It was on a dodge viper though. the viper had 2 godzilla bovs and also he had a front mount intercooler. The charge pipes ran like a normal viper exhaust the changed direction towards the bottom of the rear.

The reason they have so little lag on LT1's is because they're using small (<60MM) turbos, with .68 or .58 A/R exhaust housings, effectively killing flow when you start making any kind of horse power. Stock truck looking for some cheap extra power, build a setup like that yourself. For a honda where you can buy a good turbo manifold for 300 bucks, don't waste your time. You'll spend more money on a good header trying to make the turbo spool quicker then you would doing a proper turbo setup.

They talk about everything running cooler.... I thought you wanted the exhaust gases to be as hot as possible when entering the turbine?

You do. Why do you think people try to make the manifold as short as possible, or ceramic coating it to hold heat in? Heat = energy. Energy powers the turbo. You have more energy, you spool the turbo quicker. They band-aid this with smaller exhaust housings and wheels. I can tell you from personal experience after driving an STS equipped car I was not impressed, compared to a conventionally installed turbo.

On a lifted full size truck you wouldn't even have to get your shirt dirty.
