Default problem after nitrous install (VCN-2000)

My friend Chad up at RandD had the kit on his car for a couple of days and it would throw a TPS code when it was spraying. He took it off cause he got pissed off at it. So I installed it in my car today. Went out to test it out and again with the tps code. It displays TPS ERROR on the display and I get a CEL 7 and the engine jerks kinda bad when the cel comes on. Anyone know what the problem could be? Thanks for the help.

Oh yeah. The kit is the Venom VCN-2000

Could the "brain box" be ******* w/ the voltage input to the TPS?? I dunno. I just started my nitrous install today(finish tomorrow...too damn cold once the sun goes down). When you figure it out let us know.

Also...maybe get a multi-meter and read out the wire from the brain box to the TPS(after de-arming ) and see if it is putting out more voltage then it should @ WOT...SHould be putting out 12V right?

i would double check your TPS and make sure it is adjusted correctly.should be .5v at closed throttle and increse to about 4.5v at WOT.
if that isn't it,i'd say the only other option is a problem with the nitrous brain box.

Does any have the VCN 2000 software for sale? Venom is out of buisness and I've been trying to locate the software and haven't had any luck. Your blessing would be greatly appreciated with some cash.
