Bad seats cut in the head, dropped it off at a different machine shop last Monday. They said it was gonna be done Wed, called Wed and they said they couldn't start on it till next Monday.....WTF! Don't have time to wait on someone else so I picked up a used head today. Have to resurface and swap out cam, springs and retainers, lap the valves and throw it back on.

I started to rebuild the head myself, didn't like the way things were panning out and really wanted to used the supertech valves instead of factory. Missed my local import day and every other race I wanted to make this year so no need to rush anymore. Took the original head that got f-ed up back to the first machine shop to make them fix everything correctly. Sucks

Sorry about your luck with the head. When did the shop say they'd have your head fixed for you?

Oh and best of luck, hope you put down some great numbers.
