I know that feeling... Especially when other things come up makes it really feel like you're never going to get there.. But we will, eventually

Yeah, now I'm dicking around with another machine shop and unfortunately shelling out $300 for more headwork that should have been done right the first time . Not to mention additional $$ for gaskets, fluids, etc.....

Put the head back on Monday, Tues finished the fuel setup (had small leak) and finished the nitrous setup. Last night put everything back in time and slipped belt back on. Fought my oil return line for about 1.5hrs, had to take the mani and DP back off. Return lines on the Lovefab SST are a biatch b/c of how low the turbo sits. Tonight reinstall the intake mani, throw plugs and try to fire it up again. We'll see what happens.........

You have to at least video tape it if you do that.

Tried to start it last night. Battery was so dead it wouldn't take a charge or start. Went and picked up a battery this morning. Did a quick compression test and turned key...........
Bitch fired right up!!!!!!!!!
Wow! I feel like a million $$$$$$!!!!! Sipping a nice glass of champagne right now with my wife and friends
Only let it run for about 20 seconds. Idles smooth, love the cam, nice little lump to it. I'm about ready to go break the cam in (hold rpm's between 2-3k for about 20 mins). Then maybe I'll throw the drivers seat back in and take it around the block. Currently have the stock map and injectors in so I have to take it easy and stay out of boost. Don't want to throw the 1000cc's in yet, have to make sure that the rings seat first, can't risk washing out the cylinder walls.
