Just Dyno'd: SOHC Turbo ~12.5psi
my first run was 257whp/2xxwtq [cant remember the tq #]. I was completely shocked!! that was at approx 11.5psi
the following shown below are my 11th and 12th runs...
here's my dyno graph.
setup consists of:
stock y7 bottom end
stock z6 head
arp headstuds
stock z6 headgasket
y8 intake manifold
60mm throttle body
precision 440s
short tubular sfp manifold
t3/t04e .48/.60 - 50trim
tial 38mm (.5bar spring) @ ~12.5psi
2.5 - 3'' dp
3'' full exhaust
2.25 / 2.5" charge piping
8'' jrc intercooler
tuned on crome pro by Herman @ hermsfab.com
ostrich, hondalog
quite an upgrade from my previous setup:
greddy 15g kit @ ~9.5psi
dsm 450s
MINUS the y8 intake manifold
182whp/176wtq
comments.
i wanna hear what you gotta say guys. Thanks!!

thats bad *** man, thats almost the same setup I'll be running. that **** must rip.
I guess my greddy kit wasn't good enough lol
btw by what rpm do you reach full boost?
nevermind from the graph it looks like around 4-4.5 rpms

Re: (D-t)
when i read the thread title, i was expecting to see about 230whp or so. proved me wrong!
then i saw the power and was thinking at least 57 trim, wrong again!
good job!

Well, that's not all good. The excessive Gs are likely to blur your vision. Just drive towards the light!!
Outrageous whp with your setup. Enjoy your ride!

the greddy kit wasnt cutting it man. hehe.
this turbo feels awesome, spools up quick and has nice top end power.
as a matter of fact, i saw you today man... this morning on 117th ave, little flatblack hatchback that blew off next to you hehe...
thanks for all the comments guy, i was super suprised myself!

Great numbers man
What kind of boost controller are you running, electronic or manual? Because .5bar does not equal ~12.5psi.. .5bar = 7.35psi. Also how long do you plan to run the motor at these powerlevels on a stock block? Are you confident it's daily drivable at these power levels safely.

i'm running a turboXS dual stage MBC...
and i mentioned the wastegate has a .5bar spring, turned up to ~12.5psi. maybe i should have clarified that.

this motor setup has been together, ON BOOST for approx 2.5, going on 3, years.... been boosted since day 1.
