I NEED to know where the hoses on the back of this block (B18C) goes...
I need a favor:
I have a Helms manual for my B16A, but since I'm swapping in a GS-R bottom end, I need to be exactly sure of where all the hosing on the back of the block goes...
I'm also running a JRSC, so those of you familar with a GS-R and/or JRSC, I could use your imput also (you'll also notice I had to change the angle of the oil cooler per JRSC) ...
or, if you could scan the page of the Helms that shows the hoses to the back of the block, that would help a lot!
thanx guys..

the one on the black metal hose is the return coming from the heater core.. if you arnt running a heater then you can plug that one.
the bottom left is coming from the oil cooler but I cant remeber where it goes.

You coneect the two lower fittings together as they are for the oil cooler..the upper left fitting on the water pipe goes to the heater core drivier side fitting

b16 and b18c blocks have different routings. I found that out the hard way, but it's not a hard fix.
With that said, you're going to end up with an extra hose. What you need to do is *ensure* you have determined what direction the flow goes, and "T" the extra line into an existing one. The hardest part is figuring out which hoses flow where, and getting the "T" in there.
I wish I was there to actually point out what to do, but I'm like 2000miles away from you.

on the top your also going to have to bend it down a bit because the supercharger will hit it. i went through the same thing when i had mine in and the lower one goes to the one to the right. When you bend that pipe on the top be careful cause even though its metal it can tear. And you don't end up with an extra hose cause the only change you did was move the oil cooler. All your doing is making the hoses longer to make up for thee change of that position.

I just remembered that when I did the swap, I used the t-stat housing from the b16, thus having one less output. That saved me from T-ing off the final line.
