ELECTRICAL problem.... and tach tooo HELP>> PLEASE
Well i finally got arrount to trying to fix my weird tach problem,, It use to go up and down at 4500RPM..... just basically go all over the place as soon as I would go over 4500RPM>..
so I was told to Wire it straight to my MSD ignition box where there is a signal output on the side,,, I wired it directly into the back of my cluster so its a direct line.... it seemed to work perfect in neutral
then I went for a rip and as soon as I hit fullboost and about 7000RPM it does the same thing and goes all messed up... my redline is 8750RPM so its very frustrating cuz i dont know when to shift...
NOW should I rewire the tach directly to the distributor?? would that work???
SECOND PROBLEM.... MY AUTOMETER PYRO GAUGE
I had the power souce hooked up the power on the back of my radio...and If I played it loud ( i have a sub) the pyro gauage would flick all over the place... as soon as I would turn down the radio it would go away...
-So i figured the logical explanation was that the radio was draining volts when the bass would hit...
SO i wired it directly to the fuse box in the engine bay,,, and I still have the same problem...... any suggestions??
PLEASE HELP!
