Devcon Liquid Aluminum and Block posting
I just did my first posting on a B18b1 block and I used Devcon liquid aluminum to seal the screws. It has cured for 2 days now. I took a piece of the Devcon that had dried on my pallet and I was able to break it in half. Has anyone here used this stuff before? Doesn't seem to be as strong as I had envisioned. Any guidance from someone whos done this would be appreciated.

Re: Devcon Liquid Aluminum and Block posting
I've now used 2 blocks that were posted with Devcon Liquid aluminum. The 1st cracked a sleeve after about 1 month, so that wasn't a true test. The 2nd has about 2,000 miles on it now, boosting about 20psi, and so far so good. These are D series block though.
It's plenty strong. Maybe a little more elastic than actual aluminum, but the seal has held just fine on both applications. I'm also using it to seal the holes in my RT4WD transmission where the front axles come out (RWD car), and it's working there as well:
