In the coming weeks i'll be experimenting with nitrous and meth injection. Has anybody done this setup already? If so whats your setup? Any tips or advise? Thanks in advance..

 

it works good my old set up gsr piston n rods set up type r cams devils own meth kit dp 125 shot dry 750 inj neptune rtp 255 inline n intank had ecu controll nitrous n meth kit on window switch it was nice to run 93 pump n just hit switch to run meth n nitrous wa ready anytime

Are you considering running 100% meth 50/50?

Running a direct port wet system with methanol as the fuel source would be interesting....
Tuning may be tricky, start small.

running 100% meth is very dangerous so i'll stick to the 50/50 mix of water/meth and besides thats an octane rating of 116 for what i'll be running its a bit over kill.

All the info ive been digging up is coming from the old v8 heads. I cant really find any info among the 4 cylinders unless its turbo. The science is sound, wondering why this setup isnt more common with nitrous guys. Guess ill find out in a few weeks.

 

I have been debating on this myself. Been very interested in trying a water meth kit as well, but don't hear of them much besides from the V8 guys around here.

Stock 1996 b18b1 (100k miles). Thinking of running nitrous, water meth 50/50, ARP headstuds, rod bolts, main bolts, ACL bearings, Cometic head gasket, RMF replica header, comptech CAI.

Hopefully I will have this going in the next month or two with maybe some helpful info.
