Re: comparison between bw s362 & t3/t67
Most of the time I've seen people switching to a t4 has nothing to do with block limitations.. Its to go divided with twin gates to control lower amounts of boost on a larger snail.
My s366 is a t3 .70. I should have gone t4 because just off the wg spring it almost doubles it. So say its a 4.8psi spring, I see 10psi. In 3rd and 4th I have no creep and it holds solid as long as its over 10psi. The rpm comp maps help this a ton. In 1st gear its just off the wg spring and I have no choice but to live with the creep. Its on a full race proam mani if that matters.
I'll prob keep everything the same on this setup and just drive it but I am building another car that will be a divided t4 for sure with a larger turbo. Sadly I'm considering a non FWD chassis for common sense reasons and can't afford a s2k so a honda for my next fast car has been ruled out. I hate to get away from the little hondas but I want to go fast and put at least half my power down. Slap a 80+lb/min turbo on a piston rod cam'd SR20 and simply be done with it. 26's, 1.5 sixtys, running 10s at low 120s off the wg on pump gas. Seems like a no brainier to me

i see what you mean, but i'm tryin to keep it a simple street setup on a budget...somewhat
i was wondering also, the past couple of turbo setups i had, i used a 4in dp, would that be overkill on a t3 turbo

Depends on the turbo, a T67 would probably benefit some from 4" if you are trying to max it out, a .57 trim not so much.

Yea it would be turbo dependent, I run a 4" open dp on my s366 t3.
For a street setup I think 4" is a bit of an overkill. 3" is cheaper.
I know for sure that you can't go wrong with any of the turbos discussed.
