Check engine light at high revs in 3rd
As above, after installing my blox intake manifold, 68mm tb, 2.5inch cooler piping, big intercooler and new dump pipe my car is having a check engine light come on around 5000 - 6500 rpm in third gear. It comes on between that bracket and stays on for 2 or so seconds after i let off the throttle.
Does not do it in first or second and i haven't tried it in fourth or fifth because the highest speed limit here is 130.
It isnt a boost issue because it is doing it at 10 psi, the actuator pressure which is 7 psi and i even unhooked the actuator rod so the wastegate was always open and still had the issue.
Also thought it could have been a vtec issue, so i disabled vtec and the light still came on.
Tuned with a power FC and i took my tuner for a drive this afternoon to show him. He said that the ecu is showing nothing wrong, no knocks, duty cycle is fine and no sensor errors either.
TPS is brand new and i replaced the O ring for the map sensor and gave it a blow out at the same time.
The only other thing currently wrong with the car is a powers steering leak and i doubt that the powerFC will give a check engine light due to a low power steering fluid pressure.
Any help would be awesome
Cheers
