Okay so today I am driving to the mall and I am in 2nd gear smack vtec and take it up to redline, all of a sudden the check engine light comes on, the car has bout 123k on it and the only problem I notice is when I get to like 7-8thousand rpms it feels like there is some fuel cutoff, right now I am running open box on the intake, waiting for my CAI to get in, do any of you know what the problem might be? Do I just need to take it in to Honda/Acura to get a tune up?

 

maybe your map sensor is bad.... its located on top of your throttle body.. ionno jus a wild guess.

 

jump the CEL and see what the problem is.
