B16 jrsc help
So I bought a car that was already built as a show car. 97 EJ8 with a b16 swap blown with a jrsc. Lowered on teins and big brakes and so on.
So anyway I had to rebuild the blower as it was making no boost. At the same time I bored out the S pipe to 70mm and attached a new 70mm TB. After some tuning and a stand alone I finally got her running good and decided to take her to the track and see what times it would pull.
So after 3 passes the best I could run was a 16.0 at 86mph. I was very disappointed as you may understand.
So my question is to HT is that if anyone knows why and what I should be running on this setup because I was totally expecting low 15's and maybe break 14's.
Oh and it has 18' rims on it so I know that doesn't help even thought they are 5zigens and light.
Thanks any input is appreciated.

Sorry, but this needs to be shown to you..
Integra Rules -- Yes, FI, too
Bench Racing
Bench racing is defined as predicting the performance of a car or race outcomes based on specifications. Examples are "is my car faster than this car" or "how fast will my car run the 1/4 mile". The answer is go race and find out. Please refrain from doing this on public roadways. We will lock these threads and dock points. Users are permitted to post time slips, lap times, etc. along with their vehicle setup. Do not make posts regarding street racing. We want data, not "I blew the doors off of a Z06... because the Z06 driver didn't know he was racing".

But if it's the standard JRSC kit at low boost on an FMU then with the added weight from **** in your typical show car plus the gigantic wheels and tires making the gearing longer then it sounds about right.
That kit doesn't make more than like 215hp @ 6psi or whatever on an FMU.

A '97 Civic EX Coupe with 200 wheel HP should trap faster than 86mph in the 1/4 mile. If it doesn't, the two main reasons for this would be 1) You are down on HP... I suggest you get to a dyno and verify your engine's output. 2) You are a much better drag racer in your head than in real life.
You also mentioned "show car"... this usually means additional weight. Car stereo, suspension and brake upgrades, as well as those huge wheels and tires you have mentioned, can make the car quite heavy. This added weight will slow the car... power-to-weight ratio and traction are key factors in drag racing.
