Chrome closed loop erratic idle
After many months of this erratic idle, checking timing, rebuilding ignition components, tps sensors, throttle bodies etc.... I have run into some information here on chrome tuned issues .
Car starts and runs great, once warmed up and in closed loop I get erratic idle...
Has anyone experienced this or have any help on this topic please let me know. Ty for your time

What afr does the car idle at in open loop under the same conditions? Under closed?
What voltage are you targeting? Did you log to see if that target voltage equates to your desired afr?
What are you max/min values?

I take it you know how to set base idle, yes? What kind of throttle body?
Na vac leaks? New gaskets etc?.
Brake booster isn't leaking?
And what kind of timing you running at idle? Injector size?

Re: Chrome closed loop erratic idle
I am new at the tuning scene, voltage and logs I don't have . I had the car tuned, the. I took it home, and shortly after had problems and wanted to investigate before I take it back with a newer turbo.
Using 750cc rc injectors, no vacuum leak with smoke test. Brake booster leak will note to check, I haven't checked that yet.
Oem throttle body , new blox tps sensor calibrated from .5 to 4.5 v with my multimeter.
I have also replaced iacv. Unplugged and set idle , the replugged...
Aem wide and shows from cold start it starts at around 15.0 then as it warms fuel kicks in to about 12.5 to 13.5 at idle (tuner set it a little rich) . The afr stays the same from open to closed as far as I can tell, when the erratic idle kicks in the afr goes lean like 16.0 sometimes more...... The car wants to make huge gains the more we lean it out. Before I bring it back there are a few things I need to do...
I want to say timing ..... I forget but I think he said something about 17 degrees.
My friend said check valve clearances again I will do this this Sunday since I have my new valve adjustment tool.
1. Get new turbo (this one is starting to leak at seals and has over 120k miles on it.)
2. Fix idle if it is my issue
3. Re tap back of block with new anodized fitting (very minor leak , I don't want to have any leaks)

How much does the idle bounce? 2k rpms? Did you set idle when the motor was warm? Or cold?
There is no tuning "scene" don't ever say that again.
Back of block fittings for catch can? I can make you some. -10 an fittings stainless steel

Blox tps? Throw that **** in the garbage. I can hook you up with an oem one if you want.

Ok email me at jdmdc2.510@gmail.com for the oem tps.
I have the -10an (2) from valve cover to catch can but I need to run the third somehow. The tuner took the pcv pipe off of intake mani and blocked it off, then Let the air inlet on the valve cover open to air. (Not sure if this is normal to not have a pcv) it's an obd2 ls block with no charcoal can
The idle can bounce from 600rpm to 1000, but only when warmed up and in closed loop. I drove the car hard the other day to get it hot and when it is REAL hot it won't do it, seems only at your basic operating temp.
