Well honestly the Montgomery event started to go down when they moved both Alabama races to MMP.. Montgomery is a great track and good facility but honestly there is very little talk or advertisement in these area's for any of the import events.. There are no local shops that advertise IFO races anymore and very little talk on the street.. I have had to take a year off to rebuild my car and save some money since the second addition to the fam.. Hopefully I will be back out racing strong in FIP come 2013 but its very doubtful that I will be racing before the end of the year.. I will still be at this event as a spectator and hell I might just run the wagon for ***** and giggles..

I too second that there is no talk on other forums about this event nor the showdown event's. AL guys better step up or buy a nice trailer and gas card!

I'm trying to be done by gainsville but prob gonna be Montgomery "amp" and if my car doesn't make it I'll have another allmotor pro car there that will

its a no brainer ill be in montgomery in FWD class.
Gainesville would be a go if I had a 9 sec license, but im not throwing that money away for one event. Id rather drive to NC for the l33t FWD race where i don't have to worry about a piece of paper that says i'm "allowed" to run 9z.

Matt, we run gainsville all the time and I have seen plenty of racers run nines at Ifo there with no license. They WILL require the CAR to meet ALL the rules but they usually let the certs slide for the Ifo guys.
IE... 10 point and chute for you but I doubt they will ask for license and cage sticker. Double check with cliff but I'm pretty sure u would be ok to run, be nice to see u guys come down this way.

ya i would have to know for sure. Cliff told me a little while back that they do hassle about something, cant remember if it was a 10 point issue or paperwork.

I'd be willing to bet its the 10pt cage... Talk with cliff and make sure... Then load that bucket up and follow Jason down here lol for once I won't have to drive all the way to Georgia lol

Shoot we went a few year ago and Td autoworks was ruining a red Eg in mid 9s with no cage or chute.
