Re: Has anyone Successfully setup a Hondata Traction control yet?
Most people will know of Race Logic for there VBox not traction control, I've been running Race Logic TC system for many years, in conjunction with BBG the TC from either Hondata or RL would be a good tool too the cause, I made reference to TC systems 3 or 4 years ago and understandably, the die hard drag racers that prefer or are used to feeding in the power will not be looking at such driving aids. Others will see it as an expensive gimmick, which in reality it is, but you can't escape the fact it does actually work and with a little more time in the market place people will start to see it's use.

A few months have passed and many race events. Any more reviews or updates from those who have been using this system?

I have been using it for a few months and really like it. I haven't had a chance to really see what it can do at the track because tracks are still shut down in Phoenix. On the streets though I do feel a difference.

Javier from Hondata would be one good source to talk to. I asked him a little about it at PRI and he was telling me that they started getting the hang of it and that it was even more useful with the new software updates. He recently broke into the 8's after a few years of being stuck in the low 9's. Some of that can be attributed to the traction control system.

noob questions. Lost
1. For drag racing do you only need 2? 1 for front and 1 for rear?
2. I have 5.9(dss) they do not have ABS ring, can we get a trigger without the ring?
3. I have rear disc so they have the ABS ring, I'm assuming you'll have to use that to get the trigger for undriven wheel?
4. 4 Trigger per revolution? Is that trigger from the studs?

if you use the abs sensors then you need to use the abs rings, if you want to trigger off the wheel studs you need a hall sensor setup

Sweet vid! Just got mine installed yesterday and went testing today for the first time. I used the preset settings. Got to do more testing for sure.

Buy it and test it yourself. It works. It all depends on how you set it up for your car. There are multiple adjustments that can be made to suit a variety of setups
