Has anyone Successfully setup a Hondata Traction control yet?
As the title says i was just curious if anyone has any tips or anything on setting this up in a car?
I just bought it and it is all wired up in the car working.
Now i need to set it up in the ECU and do all of that.
I have talked to a few people who have had 0 luck getting it to work lol. I thought i would ask if anyone has any tips of what to do and what NOT to do.
Any info would be great.
Thanks

Well sounds like i really need to just mess with it lol.
I changed the Revs per mile to what my tire manufacturer says they are. I just need to go out and set up the cruise mph.
i should have some sort of results later on this week.

Basically you get the boost controller dialed in as best as you can, then you let the traction control do the other little bit you couldn't do.
I am not using the hondata boost control with my car as i still have my AVCR that i have had for like 4 years lol

I am curious as to wheterh or not this hondata TCS can be used with other tuning platforms or hondata only? Also, from what i understand from the advertising of it, the tcs may inhinbit performance driving, what would the benefit of using this for drag racing be? I understand teh benefit of autocross or NASA, but will tcs make that big of difference in drag launching?

Why do that when you can set up an ECU to control what you need on these cars?
Who builds a bell housing that would be needed for this, or wants to pull a bell housing constantly on these cars to set it up? Also, who would be using an adjustable setup of this nature on a street car?
I thought Myles asked about Hondata traction control, not adjustable clutches and pressure plates.
In on this one to see what sort of info is brought out in this thread.

Just a question. Another way to control slip. I believe kaizen speed is doing something with flow control valve. No questions allowed I guess, haha

Traction control is only as good as the person that is using it. If you think it is a fix all, you are going to be in for a rough time. It makes a big difference in the right hands.

Interesting, thank you for answering my questions. I am very curious to see some results of this as i have been looking around at different tcs options to use on my jswap.(just for castrol raceway really).
I will def look into trying to get the hondata to work on another platform like aem, although if it wont, im sure it will work with the Jseries hondata that recently went out for public consumption.

Myles, I think some people loose track of what a street car is.
I understand wanting nice parts and wanting things to work correctly, but some of us either do not have the budget or refuse to spend the $$$ for something that we will not use half the features of. People have already went 8's with Hondata, why not use it on the street with a car that legitimately sees just that, the street.
Not sure if the original poster was joking about saving the $$$ and buying Motec :-p
