Good thread...
I have tuned a bunch of cars with ID and FIC. Both are perfect. We personally use, sell and I am sponsored by Fuel Injector Connection. I met these guys a couple years ago and have been extremely happy with them.

At the end of day there is more than one person in the world that can properly machine a injector just like there is more than one good engine machinist, tuner, engine builder etc.....

great info....anyone have input on how long they have been running their injectors for? what type of fuel? How much of a difference do you see when running a 16 volt system vs a 12 volt system? Have any of you managed to "lock up" the injectors using very high pressures?

Looking for clarification
FIC as in Fuel injector clinic, or fuel injector connection? It seems both have been referenced in this thread.

Pretty sure Fuel Injector Clinic is who most are talking about.

Running 8x1100cc Fuel Injector Clinic since 2010 and thats when we ran our first 8 sec pass SFWD trim. We are still on the same injectors. Since tyen we had at least 150 passes since then.
We are running VP Import and 12v.

The only problems I have had is that if let the injectors set in corrosive or hygroscopic fuel, it will give you issues (rust). Outside of that, I have put some pressure into them (both ID and Fuel injector clinic).

I have been running Fuel Injector Clinic 775cc injectors in my naturally aspirated K24 setup for the last two years without any complaint. I replaced my outdated RC 750cc injectors and the difference was immediately apparent; the idle was so much smoother and the car gained 7-10whp throughout the entire powerband.

In regards to fuel, I use E85 out of the pump.

FIC 1100cc here. I have been using them for the last 2 race seasons with great success. My current setup is:

FIC 1100cc x 4
Weldon 2015 Fuel Pump
FTW Orange Fuel
16v Lithium Battery
140psi base pressure

As you can see I am running some serious fuel pressure. I have not had any issues with the injectors "locking up." I would highly recommend these injectors to anyone.

I have never ran an injector besides an ID injector so I cant say anything about other brands. My ID1000's were awesome but when I ran out of fuel I bumped up to the ID2000's. Both sets were very consistant and the engine idled like a dream.

Anyone have any examples of testing back to back id vs fic showing any power gains on the dyno?
Or possible id or fic vs another brand like rc?

i think they are the same injector, FIC and ID, they get them from the same place BOSCH but the ID's are flow tested in large batches and are matched up in groups that have the same flow rates unlike the FIC's.
that's what I've gathered

Niether actually make the injector. They do modify\flow\match them in their own way which is what makes the difference.Tuners usually dont make the engine managment but it still matters who tunes it right. They will both get the job done for the most part its the little driveability stuff and idle quality that is the big difference. I run id's without any complaints even with running them on Import which they arent even meant for.Still work flawlessly.ID's are my choice

Fuel Injector Clinic gets thousands of them at a time and flows them in larger batches to match them better. I have watched them do it and have seen boxes and boxes of the same injector size.

You can see the difference when people do not flow them in larger groups. There is plenty of much cheaper injector companies that do not flow or do not flow them in batches.
