Default viper 791xv into integra, no power..

Just fininshed installing the 791xv into my car (96 integra) everything works fine, havent installed the siren yet, the alarm works fine when i turn the key on, i can lock/unlock my doors with the remote, the led flashes indicating its armed, but once i take the key out its like the alarm isnt getting the 12v constant power source, and my remote doesnt lock/unlock ive double checked my connections, ive tapped into the constant 12v, and the ignition, didnt switch them, theyre both run rite, also i did extend the red wire coming from the brain (12v constant wire with the fuse) just a tad bit, not by much , does anyone have any ideas as to why the alarm doesnt seem to be getting power when the key isnt in the ignition, also the ground seems to be fine. tia.

I would start by metering the constant 12v lead red wire while I turn on the ignition and all other constant 12v leads.

Prob/meter the wire behind the fuse of your red 12v wire between the alarm brain and fuse and also at the brain itself just to make sure its not a loose connection.

Did you solder or use other types of connections?

If you soldered the connection go back in and re-solder or reheat the connection may just be a cold solder.

Hopefully when you were locking and unlocking with the remote wile you had the key on you didn't start programing things in. Try to program it back to default and see if that was the problem.

thanks alot for the help guys, it seems the white/black wire i thought was a constant wasnt, so tomorow i have to find the all white wire in the ignition harness, though there are only three wires and neither is all white, just the color mentioned above.
